The Cell Biology Lab has accepted High School students as part of their work experience programs. Students should contact the Lab directly, or the Department of Anatomy Office. I generally try and give the students an idea of what being a researcher is like; the types of things that are done in the lab on a daily basis, the "big picture" of why this research is done, the career path for a researcher, meet other people in the Lab, and the different skills that are required. Ideally they complete a small "research project" during their time in the Lab.
Other Researchers within the Department of Anatomy have also in the past accepted students for work experience. Look throught the Department Website for an area of research that you find interesting.
