Introduction

The Cell Biology Lab has accepted High School students as part of their work experience programs. Students should contact the Lab directly, or the Department of Anatomy Office. I generally try and give the students an idea of what being a researcher is like; the types of things that are done in the lab on a daily basis, the "big picture" of why this research is done, the career path for a researcher, meet other people in the Lab, and the different skills that are required. Ideally they complete a small "research project" during their time in the Lab.
