--David Roberts 19:29, 22 April 2009 (EST)Hey Carmen, I found em when I was doing my research for the group project. I was tossing up between seperase and Cohesin, cohesin holds the chromatids together when they are replicating. there are probably a few proteins on the motors of the mitotic spindle or the microfilaments that cut the cell in half to make 2. I guess thats still part of cell division.

You should think about adding your comments at the top of the page, so the newest comments appear first and the older conversations appear lower on the page. I know it seems the wrong way to read (up instead of down) but it also means that that the most current issue is right at the top of the page and the first to be read.

15:10, 31 March 2009 (EST) So... have we all decided on a section? When is a draft of everything due anyway? I think it's best that we get a draft up soon... because hte later we leave things the harder its going to be, with assessments from other courses coming up...

on which aspect? lol or is it going to be a random selection thing? Because if we get to call dibbs on which section... I wouldn't mind researching hte the types or the history...?

Also, just wondering... is te word limit going to be divided evenly? so like 1500/4 per person?

--David Roberts 12:09, 26 March 2009 (EST) That sounds like a pretty good way to break it all up Grace. I was looking for a few journal articles the other day for the cell division, and there looked to be a fair few proteins being used in the process, so that helps a bit. I'll keep looking for more info.

  1. types of cell division [im not sure, but types like amitosis, meiosis, mitosis and binary fission; are they different types? are they related to our topic? see:]
  2. dynamics/ mechanism of cell division
  3. timeline of topic, when/how it was discovered etc.
  4. current research in this area [as suggested by lecturer]

Just some suggestions, what do you think? I'm not very familiar with this topic, still researching it, so if you guys have better/clearer ideas that'll be great =D
