The recombinant DNA now has the capacity to produce fluorescent proteins when the genetic code is read for regular protein synthesis. Summary

Annealing can be reinforced using ligase enzymes which strengthen the bonds between the inserted gene and the recipient DNA. The recombinant DNA now has the capacity to produce fluorescent proteins when the genetic code is read for regular protein synthesis. The fluorescent protein usually appears at the end of the regular protein and does not influence the regular protein function adversly.
