Effect of varying stages of pig embryonic pancreatic tissue transplantation in diabetic mice

This study utilised varying gestational periods of pig pancreatic tissue to transplant into diabetic mice and found the embryonic tissue from the 42nd embryonic day provided the most substantial growth in pig islets, restoring normal glucose concentrations within the mice.
