Structural Model of Bacterial and Eukaryotic Microtubules

This picture depicts the similarities and differences between the structures of bacterial microtubules (blue) and their eukaryotic counterparts (grey). Bacterial microtubules share features with their eukaryotic counterparts such as straight protofilaments and similar protofilament interactions.
