A)You have now created your individual project page. Great information but could do with an image or two.


B) Background part of the project was good idea, as it gave me the rough idea of what mechanisms are related with the calpain protein before the main part of the project.

But I've noticed there were quite few spelling error in the project such as 'complexcomponen', 'substained'. It needs to be read over carefully again, and fix this mistakes.

And in the function part, you said 'cell death: calpain induces necrosis by the increase of intracellular CA2+', It sounds like consequence of calpain activation is increase of intracellular Ca2+ concentration, I know what you mean, but you need to make sure increase in intracellular Ca2+ activates calpain, otherwise it could be confusing.

And lastly it would be great if the function part can become more specific, as its information was bit rough, and vague.

C)a good intro to calpains. Some of the processes you outlined are a bit difficult to understand, so images will help a lot, especially for "Ischemic Neuronal death" and "Function" parts. Also, might be good to include a glossary, for words such as "ischaemia", "proteolysis", etc. And I believe you have to include a link to your group page? (I made the same mistake on mine =P). Good work anyway!

D)The information was easily understood, but perhaps the function part needs to be extended and more details provide of how calpain is related to the function.

E) Organised nicely with a good flow, a diagram would be nice to go with the explanations. Looks like you've done some good research, keep up the good work!
