Microarray Laboratory

Microarray Slide

--Mark Hill 11:21, 28 May 2012 (EST) Note this is not Lab 8 but Lab 12 and was rescheduled as the last Lab of the Semester. Please attend the normal Lab room (G2/G4) before we proceed to the centre.

The first half of this laboratory will be a visit to the UNSW The Ramaciotti Centre for Gene Function Analysis. You will have the opportunity to see the practical aspects of the new methods of cell analysis. Have a look through the centre's website before you visit and the other links to information on microarrays.

Microarray technology

The Ramaciotti Centre has been providing a Sanger sequencing service to the research community since 1995. In 2009, the Centre added next-generation sequencing technology to its sequencing services.
