This page is a summary of teaching in the Cell Biology Laboratory with links to additional course and resource pages. The main areas of my teaching relate to my own research experise and personal scientific interests. I have an ongoing interest in combining new technologies with traditional educational techniques, both methods have their own limitations and strengths, it is only by providing and testing these combined techniques can we derive any long-term benefits.
I have developed two main online educational projects.
The first UNSW Embryology is a long-term ongoing project providing an educational resource for embryology.
The second UNSW Cell Biology this current site (under development) is to support the new Medical curriculum, the undergraduate Science courses and to provide information about research in the lab.

I am sure through the ages, that each generation has said "these are changing times in which we live". Imagine the time when books became first available to distribute both information and pleasure. So I feel that we are not unique today in using these new "tools" in ways we cannot yet imagine, some will become part of our everyday life, while others will not stand the test of time. (More?
